Life Coach

Everyone can use a little help sometimes, especially when it comes to journeys of self-expansion and discovery.

As a certified life coach for over ten years, I counsel and encourage my clients through personal and career challenges.

I take a whole-person approach to coaching by identifying and then addressing obstacles that get in the way of goal-attainment.

I was certified in 2012 through the Certified Coaching Federation and have worked with personal and corporate clients achieving stellar results. My ministerial training also included spiritual and personal counseling. I was licensed as a spiritual practitioner in 1997 and as a minister since 2012 by the Centers for Spiritual Living. In 2021 I earned a certificate in Emotional Intelligence from The Yale Center for Emotional Intelligence.

Funeral and Memorial Officiant

Officiating at a funeral or memorial means more than presiding over the ceremony. It involves planning the service, assisting the family at a vulnerable time, and helping to create the program—one befitting of the deceased.

I help with music selections, the order of service, the crafting and delivery of a message that comforts the family and friends. If I knew the departed, I perform the eulogy. If I didn’t know them, I will help the family member or friend prepare the eulogy.

As a funeral or memorial celebrant, I ensure everything operates smoothly within the wishes of the family.

I take great care to comfort the family by attending to their specific needs and circumstances.

Serving as a funeral officiant requires a special personality to serve others during one of the worst days of their lives. I create an emotionally safe environment for the bereaved.

Wedding Officiant

While love may be the biggest reason people marry, it's not the only one. In general, people make the commitment to spend their lives together for more than a single reason.

Every couple chooses to commit to marriage because it serves their needs and supports their values and dreams, and every couple’s wedding day deserves to be exactly as they imagine it and as special as is possible.

Not only do I officiate and guide the couple through their vows, but I also help them to create the wedding ceremony that reflects who they are as a couple.

I have officiated religious and secular ceremonies that match the personalities of the couples since 1997.

I meet with the couple several times before the actual wedding to help them identify a theme and then to align every element of the ceremony with that theme. Discussing the big issues upfront that most couples invariably face and then solidifying a path forward is a service I can provide.

Pre-marriage counseling is encouraged though not required.
